Lindsay's Local Leader - Krisha Payne

By LINDSAY FRICKS

I am excited to introduce you to one of my preferred vendors and dear friends, Krisha Payne. I was introduced to Krisha when I was a part time agent a few years ago. I instantly liked her and over the years we’ve discovered we share a passion for animal welfare and reading.

We’ve been in a tiny but mighty book club of four women for the last year and half. It’s a highlight of my month when we meet at Postino’s Kierland to discuss our book, gab about life, drink wine and eat bruschetta.

Please meet Krisha Payne: Mom of 3, animal welfare advocate, avid reader and home warranty expert. Make sure you check out her generous offer to my blog readers at the end.

Lindsay Fricks - Krisha Payne

Where are you from and what brought you to Arizona? I grew up in Tucson, AZ and moved to Phoenix about 13 years ago when all of my immediate family started moving here too. I have never looked back!

What’s your hidden talent or random unknown fact about you? My name is unusual and many people ask me where it came from.. so I thought that would be a good random fact. My dad is a HUGE baseball fan and for any baseball fans out there, Steve Garvey played for the Dodgers and the Padres in the 70s and 80s. His daughter was born a couple years before me and her name was Krisha. If my mom had her way, I would’ve been Angela 🙂

What are 3 items you can’t live without? Dental floss, my S’well water bottle and my journal.

Where is your dream vacation location? This is a hard one to pick because there are many. But Bali and Southern Europe are next on my list.

What community organization are you passionate about and why? My current focus is HALO Animal Rescue but I am passionate about anything to do with animal welfare. Animals have no voices and are innocent creatures who are often not treated as they deserve to be. And this goes for ALL animals.. I won’t get on my soapbox though. I know you feel the same way, Lindsay!

What’s your superpower? 100% my intuition.. it is so strong that I sometimes think I have a unique gift beyond just normal intuition. (if only I would always listen to it!)

What’s your favorite place to grab drinks and a bite to eat? I love Jade Bar at Sanctuary Resort if I have time to go there but for a quick drink and an amazing sunset I like Isabella’s Kitchen.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Every “mistake” in life is a lesson in some way. Focus on that lesson rather than wishing things would’ve played out differently.

What’s your business? The business I represent is called Super. We are a Silicon Valley based startup now in our sixth year and growing like wildfire! We are a home warranty company reinventing the home warranty industry.

What makes you and your business different?  There are many things that we do differently but mainly it is our technology, using higher quality contractors, scheduling and claim process, more comprehensive coverage and peace of mind for our customers.

How can people support your business? For homeowners, signing up for a home warranty policy would support my business. For HALO Animal Rescue, of course they have pets to foster and adopt. But if that isn’t an option, they are always accepting food & toy donations as well as monetary donations to help run the facility which is volunteer based.

Special Offer for Lindsay’s readers: Super is offering new subscribers who already own a home $50 in service reward credits. We know homeowners could all use a little more security right now. Reducing repair expenses from unexpected appliances and system breakdowns is a great way to save money and reduce worry. Sign up today by visiting our website and using the code SUPER1578 at checkout.
