Arizona Restaurant Week

By LINDSAY FRICKS

It’s the most wonderful week of the year! Ok, that’s actually Christmas, but this is a close second in my book…. It’s ARIZONA RESTAURANT WEEK!!! Tomorrow, September 20th, through the 29th is a special week where some of the best and newest restaurants offer abbreviated menus at an affordable set price. This gives you the opportunity to try something new or level up to those boujee special occasion restaurants for a more palatable price (see what I did there). YASSS!

Enjoying Arizona Restaurant Week with some of my best gals at Olive & Ivy

Some of my favorite spots are participating in AZ Restaurant Week. Here are my recommendations of where you should check out:

  1. Olive & Ivy– I eat here more than any other restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale. It’s got a great atmosphere, amazing food and consistent service. They haven’t published their menu for Restaurant Week, but I’ve tried pretty much every dish on the menu and can vouch it’s legit.
  2. Chelsea’s Kitchen– This is right in my neighborhood and consistently serves up some of the best gourmet southwestern fare. The stacked enchilada on their restaurant week menu is my choice!
  3. Eddie V’s– Located in the Scottsdale Quarter, this white table cloth steak restaurant is one of my all time favorites. Their restaurant week menu is $44 per person but is an incredible value compared to their regular menu prices. My mouth is already watering for their 8oz center cut filet mignon.
  4. Nobuo at Teeter House– We just tried this restaurant a couple weeks ago with some clients and were blown away at how delicious it was. It’s located in Downtown Phoenix in a cute little historic home. The food was next level and would suit even the most foodie of people. Their Restaurant Week menu is somewhat ambiguous, but from what we experienced I’m confident it will be out of this world!

It’s always fun to try new places. Here are the new spots I’m excited to try out this week:

  1. La Ledera– I’ve been hearing rave reviews for this new Mexican restaurant in the Central Phoenix corridor. I’m drooling over their Coctel de Camarones and Chorizo Arepa!
  2. Tapas Papas Frita– This has been on my list to try for a while since tapas is one of my favorite meals (PS we are going to Spain in November). This is just a hop skip away in Old Town Scottsdale and I’m already salivating over their stuffed dates and paella.
  3. The Sicilian Butcher– I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but I’m kind of a meatball connoisseur. If they’re on the menu, you can be sure I’m ordering them. This restaurant is in Central Phoenix and has been recommended to me numerous times. Their famous meatballs are on the set menu for Restaurant week… hallelujah!

Did any of your favorite spots make the list? Let me know where you’ll be grubbing so we can compare notes! Check out the full AZ Restaurant Week list here.
