Only 3 years into my real estate career, I realized how toxic and unhealthy the industry was. There’s an unwritten expectation that you’re available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for clients. The intensely competitive environment makes it nearly impossible to make genuine relationships and build camaraderie amongst peers. The general acceptance that alcohol is necessary to help us cope with the demands of the job. There had to be a better way, and I was determined to find it.
The phrase, “you’re the sum of the five people you spend the most time with” was ruminating in my head when I started to research places to connect with entrepreneurs. At the time, I didn’t even know what a mastermind was. I literally had to Google “what is a mastermind group?” Turns out it’s “a group of peers who meet to give each other advice and support.” So, that’s a thing, and it sounded exactly like what I needed. A safe space to connect with likeminded people for a fresh perspective, support and camaraderie. I wasn’t totally sure I was getting in when I signed up, but something in my gut told me that I had to be in the room.
The year I spent with my first mastermind was one of the most challenging, expansive and life changing experiences I’ve ever had. It catapulted me from my comfort zone into a next level group of successful and driven entrepreneurs who encouraged me to dream bigger than I ever had before. The mastermind opened up an incredible world of personal development focusing on healing old traumas, rewiring the brain for success and finding a deep connection with your body. The accountability and encouragement from the group gave me confidence to go for my big dreams, learn along the way and lean on the group for resources and support. Being in the mastermind cracked me wide open and inspired me to build the type of legacy life I’d been craving.
Through the mastermind, I started to recognize the lack of similar forums in the real estate community and I felt called to create The Legacy Agent Mastermind so other agents could join me on this journey. The hand-picked, intimate group of agents will come together for a one year program to bond, connect, grow and create their legacy story. The group will be challenged to think in new ways, overcome obstacles, create new income streams and deepen their relationships. Through exercises, coaching, expert trainers and teamwork, we will create a plan for your business and life and hold you accountable to your goals.
