Lindsay's List: Best Happy Hours

By LINDSAY FRICKS

I absolutely LOVE a good deal! One of my favorite pieces of advice growing up was that only a stupid person would spend more than they have to on something. Ain’t that right? So in honor of National Happy Hour Day, this week’s Lindsay’s List features the best Happy Hour spots in Phoenix.

Lindsay Fricks Real Estate Arizona

Roaring Fork, Old Town Scottsdale

I was just reminded of this amazing location when we had dinner with my parents last week. The food is SO good. This isn’t a flashy new hot spot in Old Town, but a classic staple. Their happy hour offers amazing deals on signature dishes like mouth watering green chilli pork served with warm buttered tortillas. They also have a long list of yummy cocktails and wines by the glass for $6 bucks. Happy hour is Sunday through Thursday all night in the bar! When are we going?

Postino, Various Locations Valleywide

This is always a fan favorite. Located in a favorite neighborhood near you, Postino offers $5 glass of wine and pitcher beer every day till 5pm. However, the best deal is their Bottle & Board special offered on Monday and Tuesday after 8pm. You get a delicious board of 4 bruschetta with one of their selection of wine bottles. It’s pretty hard to beat, but get there early and be prepared to wait, but it’s worth it!

Sushiholic, Arcadia

If you don’t live nearby me, it’s worth making the trip over to Arcadia for the best sushi restaurant in town. What makes them the best? They offer a happy hour menu from 2pm-close! Heck yes! You get deals on bombers, beers and sake in addition to a wide selection of sushi favorites at a significant discount. The sushi is very delicious and fresh. Parking can be a little hectic in this location so be sure to carpool.

Vecina, Arcadia

If you’ve been following along for a while you know I’m a Vecina fan girl. It’s my favorite restaurant of 2020 and it’s not even a mile from my house! They have a great Happy Hour from 2-6pm Tuesday through Saturday. My favorite guacamole in town is only $10 (maybe not a screaming deal, but worth it) and their House Paloma is so good!

Taco Guild, Central Phoenix

Confession Hour at this spot is not to be missed. There’s something pretty unique about dining in a historic church building. They offer $2 off margaritas, wine and draft beer as well as select food items from 2-6pm every day. Their parking can be challenging as well so be prepared to circle the block before bellying up to the holy bar.
